I have been going to this new cross fit/ boot camp gym for about a month now. This week I observed the people in the classes I go to for boot camp and observed several things depending on the person that is in the class. A majority of us that are in the class prefer certain workouts compared to others depending on the day. Each day is different for the class, we work a specific muscle group or focus on a particular area each day. On Monday, we work our abdominal muscles, on Tuesday, we focus on cardio, on Wednesday, we work on our lower body, Thursday is upper body, and Friday is suppose to be a fun day where we do obstacles and team building activities.
For example, on Tuesday, we focus on cardio, therefore, Jessica, another lady at class, hates Tuesdays. Every Tuesday, she complains and whines, her expression on her face looks sad and depressed. Throughout the workout, I observe that everyones mood changes depending on where we are at in the workout. A majority of the people that go to the class have the same emotions throughout the class. In the beginning of the class, about half of the people are tired and not ready to workout and the other half are excited to start the workout. Throughout the workout, most of the people in the class looked tired, sweat, confused, and depressed. Towards the end of the workout, everyone is so relieved it is over and feel good the rest of the day. I observed that a majority of the people who go to the boot camp class are female and wear tank tops with capri type bike shorts that go to just below the knees or near the ankles and are black. A majority of the people also tend to wear there hair in a bun. For me, every day I workout I feel great the rest of the day! I am also more productive and I am in a better mood throughout the whole day compared to not working out at all!
