Journal #3

I never knew that touch was the first sense we as humans develop.  It makes sense, but it never dawned on me.  I found it interesting how we can comin ate with touch and how it depends on the person we are communicating with, if that communication will be received friendly or if someone will receive it as inappropriate, even if it's just a hand on the shoulder.  I'm not the type that is physical with strangers, such as a pat on the back or arm around the neck, but with my friends I am.  However, I also didn't realize that there is also a difference with coworkers and keeping a professional manner.  Now that I've learned this, it's great how much I pay attention to it.
