I go to the gym regularly, especially boot camp classes where it is a group of people working out with a trainer instructing them what to do. I go to the gym regularly because it exercise makes me feel better and it's a way to get out and meet people. When reading the material this week, I found it more interesting than last week! When I of to the gym, I tend to people watch and notice how people interact, what they wear, and what they look like when they workout.
Every time I workout it's a different thing to look at. I think its interesting to observe the different emotions of people throughout the class. Before the group classes start I notice most of the people at the class are excited for the class or tired depending on how early the class is. Throughout the workout, most of the people in the class are exhausted, sweating profusely, and even look unaware or confused. At the end of the class, most peoples faces in the class are relieved or happy. I think it all depends however on what we are doing in the class. Some people in the class prefer others days that work specific muscles compared to others.
Those observations are very accurate. I notice the same things now and you can really tell how hard someone works out by the look of exhaustion on their face. I also notice a sort of slumped body posture.
