Observations at Church
10:20 AM June 5 Latter Day Saint Sunday School
The last meeting went over time, but people didn't seem rushed to enter the room. Often people would say hi to someone and move into the room. The outskirts of the room filled before people started to sit in the center. I saw two guys enter the room at the same time and sit down but they kept a chair in between them. Both of their wives were not going to be in attendance. I saw a lot of people looking down at scriptures or tablets.
The person's non-verbal communication that I watched the most was the teacher. She left a few items home and her shoulders were hunched over when she was searching and her face looked puzzled. When she decided to move on her posture was straight an she kept looking up, and around the room. She made eye contact with many people and her smile invited responses. She also scrunched her eyes when she was thinking.
