Social norms are interesting things. It's fun to read the information on it and even more fun to see it. I really liked being in a large hotel this week and to see the different ways theses norms are kept and broken.
Kids running around through crowds were some of the violators. They got in personal spaces and the people that were there showed their discomfort by stepping away or even giving them a colder look. Even I had my space intruded upon a few times. I responded about how everyone else would: shy away, advert the eyes, and/or give them a questioning look.
